Earlier this month, Asheville Music Hall got a strong dose of the electronic dance duo Dubtribe Sound System. Moonbeam and Sunshine Jones, pioneers in the west coast club scene, brought a uniquely intimate dance party to the stage. With the pair sitting comfortably on a rug at the front of the stage, the space felt more like a living room jam session than an actual concert. A laptop with a few other toys, some handdrums, and live vocals kept the energy high and feet moving all night.
