Ben Sollee @ Asheville Music Hall :: 05.11.12
Singer, songwriter, and cellist Ben Sollee visited Asheville this past weekend to perform at the Asheville Music Hall. All those Sollee fans that weren’t at LEAF packed the house and the ladies swooned.
Dubtribe @ Asheville Music Hall :: 05.05.12
Earlier this month, Asheville Music Hall got a strong dose of the electronic dance duo Dubtribe Sound System. Moonbeam and Sunshine Jones, pioneers in the west coast club scene, brought a uniquely intimate dance party to the stage. With the pair sitting comfortably on a rug at the front of the stage, the space felt more like a living room jam session than an actual concert. A laptop with a few other toys, some handdrums, and live vocals kept the energy high and feet moving all night.

What better way to ring in the new year than a brisk walk around downtown Asheville on New Years Day at dusk! Clear skies and empty streets hint at the possibilities that lie ahead.
Asheville Celebrates Latin Culture at Fiesta Latina
The annual Fiesta Latina festival took place yesterday in downtown Asheville at Pack Square Park. The celebration featured entertainment, music, food, dance classes and more. The Latin-fusion group Xperimento headlined the event and Whitney Moore and Montuno finished out the evening with sultry salsa.
