What can I say about this year’s “Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival”, but “Wow”! This shoot came up as a last minute gig so I only caught the second act, but it turned out to be great fun. Already looking forward to next year’s ABSFest!

Down @ The Orange Peel :: 05.21.12

This past Monday I shot Down at the Peel, which marked my first shoot at a heavy metal show. Or attending a metal show for that matter. Sure, there have been plenty of hard rock concerts and Lollapalooza’s, but those are child’s play in comparison.

Ben Sollee @ Asheville Music Hall :: 05.11.12

Singer, songwriter, and cellist Ben Sollee visited Asheville this past weekend to perform at the Asheville Music Hall. All those Sollee fans that weren’t at LEAF packed the house and the ladies swooned.

Zeds Dead: Living Dead Tour 2012

On March 30th, Toronto-based electronic music duo, Zeds Dead rocked out a packed house at the Orange Peel in downtown Asheville. The Living Dead Tour also included rapper Omar LinX and openers XI and AarabMuzik. Definitely no shortage of bass in the place!
